What is an asset?
An asset is any physical device (or hardware), virtual machine (VM) or cloud instance that is being monitored within the platform. Hardware assets include UPS, CRAC units, servers, storage units, and network devices. You can use your available hardware asset count within each plan towards any of these. However, the additional VM and cloud instance allotment can only be used as intended.
Are racks, patch panels or switch ports considered assets?
No. Racks, patch panels, switch ports, and ‘unrecognized’ data center components are not considered assets–therefore, there is no charge for these items.
Is the auto-discovery tool agentless?
Absolutely. Our robust auto-discovery tool doesn’t need an agent. By speaking many different protocols–like SNMP, IPMI, BACnet, and Modbus–it can discover assets in the facility, IT, virtual and cloud layers of your infrastructure.
How much does it cost?
Our pricing is tiered based on the number of assets you wish to monitor. Custom pricing is available for requirements over 1,000 assets. You can add on more VMs and cloud instances for monitoring to any plan. Speak to a Tuangru representative for more details.
Is partner or reseller pricing available?
Yes. We offer separate pricing for partners. These include managed service providers (MSPs), value-added resellers, system integrators, technology consultants, and agencies. To become a partner, please apply here.
Is technical support included?
Yes. Each plan includes 8×5 support with the option to purchase an upgrade to 24×7 support.
Which public cloud instances and VMs do you support?
Currently, we support Amazon AWS and Google Cloud. We will be releasing support for Microsoft Azure shortly. For virtual machines, we support VMware and Hyper-V.
How many users am I allowed?
As many as you need. There is no limit to the number of users, locations (sites), IPs, and/or sensors when using our software. You have unlimited flexibility.
Is monthly billing available?
Yes. Although our prices above are based on annual billing, we do offer month-to-month billing. Please contact a Hyperview representative for more details.
Can I change plans?
Yes. You can easily upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Simply contact our support team and they will take care of the rest.
