Product Update: Version 2.3

This release features UX improvements across several Hyperview components: Assets and Assets by Type Grids, Document Management, User Management, and Sensor Graphs. We’ve also fixed a number of bugs, added support for more devices, and enhanced our translation library.

Asset Grid

Ability to toggle nested assets

While viewing an asset’s children from Information → Assets, you can now toggle nested assets.

Asset Type Grid

Assets by Type grid improvements

The Data Center and Location columns in Assets by Type grids have been consolidated into an Asset Location column that shows the entire asset path. Furthermore, Rack Asset by Type grids no longer feature columns related to door sensors, resulting in a much more streamlined user experience. (You can filter Advanced Search grids by door sensor columns as usual.)

Sensor Graphing

Cleaner graphs

Starting with Hyperview 2.3, sensor graph points are hidden by default to reduce visual clutter. They will only appear if you hover on a particular graph.

Support for additional special characters in group names

User group name validation has been enhanced to allow the following characters: #%^*+=/, and .

Other notable improvements

  • A Refresh button has been added to Documents grids (Assets → Documents and Information → Documents). Note that Documents grids are only available if you have a Document Management license.
  • Arista 7060CX network switches are now supported.
  • Various translations have been added for Spanish locale pages.
