Circuit Management

We’ve got some cool updates for the Connectivity add-on feature. We’ve added Circuit Management, which lets you bundle multiple connections into one end-to-end circuit. So, what can you do with it? Check this out:

  • Set and manage different circuit types and statuses.
  • Add your own custom properties to the circuits.
  • Decide who gets to access which circuit.
  • Easily sort, search, and set side A and Z termination points.
  • Oh, and if you’ve got a ton of data? Just bulk upload it!

Outlet Control

Here’s a handy upgrade: control several outlets all at once. In the rack PDU layout, you can now select multiple outlets and then decide if you want to turn them on, off, or just give them a power cycle.

And for power-hungry devices like servers, we’ve made some tweaks to the Information -> Power page. You can control multiple power sources at the same time. Plus, the page now provides the latest available output total power and load for connected power providers.

Other Enhancements

API Clients

Good news. Remember how we couldn’t edit the API client permissions like Role and Access Policies before? Well, now we can! If you’re an Admin, you’ve got the green light to adjust those API user permissions.

SNMPv3 Authentication and Privacy

We’ve given the Linux Data Collector SNMPv3 a bit of a boost. Now it supports SHA256, SHA384, and SHA512 for authentication and also has AES192 and AES256 for privacy. Also, SNMPv3 passwords must be at least 8 characters long (enforced) to comply with RFC-3414 rules.

Power Path Visualization

Now with just a simple double-click, explore different nodes and dive deeper into the details of your power path. How cool is that? And if you want a lasting memory, save the power path as a PDF or image file.

Credentials Management

With our latest enhancements to credential management, you can’t check multiple passwords at once. We’ve made an update so that when an Admin views a password in a credential record, it creates an application log. We’ve also improved the credentials management API to prevent an Admin from viewing multiple passwords within a credentials collection.

New Troubleshooting Tools

  • Net-SNMP docker container
  • SNMP Get troubleshooting tool
  • The BacnetIpWalkerCli diagnostic tool has been improved to allow binding to different ports

Notable Bug Fixes

  • AS-12012 Fixed a bug that caused a discovery CIDR range details to not display when adding an address range to a discovery
  • AS-13088 Fixed a bug that caused shape type edits to not work after a floor plan layout shape is saved
  • AS-13157 Fixed a bug that caused certain component-level sensors not to trigger thresholds
  • AS-13257 Fixed a bug that caused the 3D layout popover information to not be localized
